So I’m back! Back in school, back on UMBC campus, and back to writing my blog! I had an awesome winter break, but I am glad to be back. I’ve been back since Thursday, soing the RA thing, decorating my floor and training. Last night I slept 6 hours, the night before that 1.5 hours, and the night before that 6 hours… Needless to say I am dead tired, but it was all worth it. I decorated my hall this year based on my favorite movie, Nightmare Before Christmas! I absolutely love the movie and I love my new floor decorations. I spent a week hand painting all of my decorations and cutting out door decorations for all of my residents. I’m not going to lie, my floor looked awesome. Then I decided to beef it up even more: I went to Party City and bought a bunch of clearance Christmas decorations and Halloween decorations and put them up all over the wall. So now I have garland and bows mixed with bats and spider webs! Now my floor is probably the best thing I’ve ever seen (how do you like my modesty). I’ve been told though that not a lot of people have seen the movie though, which makes me upset, especially because they are just confused by my decorations. It’s worth it though for the residents that do know the movie though, because they loved the movie and are super pumped about the decorations, which is really why I do it. But with my hallway done and this blog now written, I have to go do some work and go to sleep because classes start TOMORROW!
