So now that I have finally figured out how to use my blackberry and transfer the picture I took this past weekend from HOMECOMING, I can update my blog!  This past weekend was so much fun, but so unproductive as far as school work.  It started out with Thursday night: bonfire!  Each year, there is a huge bonfire on Erickson Field, where everyone crowds around to just watch and keep warm.  This year’s was awesome, proven by the pictures down below.  This year they also had Chipotle borritos to give out, which caused a huge mob to form because, really, who doesn’t love Chipotle (especially FREE Chipotle)?!  After this there was a fireworks show, which I also took pictures of.  The show was really good actually, and this year it wasn’t rained out, which was exciting.  Afterwards, they showed Tropic Thunder on a huge screen out of Erickson Field.  A lot of people stayed, but that movie wasn’t my cup of tea, so I headed out.  Then on Friday night, there was the UMBC talent show.  Let me just say that there are some AMAZING people at UMBC.  From dancing to poetry reading to singing and instrumentals to baton twirling, those that performed were great.  Saturday I was suppose to go to the soccer game, but with the rain and all I decided to skip out on that.  Then that night, instead of going to the comedy show, I actually went to the movies with some friends, which was good, but I heard that I would have loved the comedy show.  Overall, it was one awesome weekend filled with all sorts of activities, including me playing catchup on Sunday up until 3am just to fit it all in!!!  Luckily though I caught up on my sleep last night, so I’m ready to go for yet another exciting weekend: the GREs and Six Flags!  Woohoo!
